Tightly cropped Pleiades taken in Los Angeles
plaeides.jpg
Made from 3(10min) RGB frames taken with STL11k and FSQ looking over Los Angeles.

This is a 25% reduced size GIF file from the original FITS image. Calibration using a generic flat frame and set of 5 median combined dark frames. Original exposure of 20 min, red filter, polar aligned using polar scope only. The thing that is amazing to me about this image is that it was taken with the Moon out while shooting directly over Los Angeles and with some street light interference. I severly cropped it to help remove gradients.
